Debt ceiling has pass. So what's next?

S&P 500 have made new HIGH, closed at 1744.50.
I knew a lot of people had sold their investment away or short the market because of the debt ceiling crisis and partial government shut down. 

If you have follow my blog every week, you should have hold on to your investment and even TOP UP your investment.

Refer to my previous post market-sentiment, my short term market sentiment have turned bullish from 16/05/13. S&P 500 was trading at 1650.47. 

If you have invest from that day till 18/10/13, you would have gain at least 5% for the last 5 months. Not a lot but still better than the banks. At least beating the inflation rate.

Once again, few of my friends went to SHORT the market when the US government is partially shut down. 
My market sentiment for both Long and Short term is still bullish. They are going against my market sentiment.
This sell down once again caught the people who shorted the market but don't know when to buy back.

My market sentiment for SG has changed to Bullish on Thursday. But STI is approaching its resistance. Something to watch out.

STI rebounded +3.8 % last week. 

Support level 2950 ~ 3000

Resistance level 3300~3350 & 3400~3450

STI rebounded +2.4 % last week. 

Support level 2950 ~ 3000

Resistance level 3300~3350 & 3400~3450

For the month of September, S&P 500 have rebounded +3.4% and STI rebounded +3%.

Just 3 weeks ago, a lot of my friends were asking about:

Will Syria cause a stock market crash, I replied "NO". 

Big Boys will make use of this NEWS to create fear in the market and causes panic selling. And they will buy them back cheap from the market. 

So which one are you? 

1) You sold because you are scared or 

2) You bought because you see this as an opportunity or 

3) You don't know what to do

US have dropped -2% this week.

STI have dropped -5.4% for the past 1.5 weeks from 19/08 - 27/08.

Today STI currently down by another by -1% at the point I typing this entry , currently trading around 3000 level.

Invest with the proper knowledge.
